Easy Pea with Meat Soup – Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack green split peas
  • 1 block Imana Garden vegetable flavour stock
  • 1 block Knorrox oxtail flavour stock
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 medium carrots
  • 2 medium potatoes
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Meat for soup with some fat
  • Water as needed
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Soak the split peas in boiling water. Then rinse with cold water.
  2. Add enough water to cover the peas and cook once in a steamer pot.
  3. Add the meat and cook again in the steamer pot.
  4. Transfer everything to a regular pot.
  5. Grate the potatoes and carrots, add them to the pot, and cook again.
  6. Chop the onion and add it to the pot along with the two stock blocks.
  7. Cook until the meat is tender. Add water if needed during cooking.

Season with black pepper and add 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce to taste.
