Ingredients:
- 1 pack green split peas
- 1 block Imana Garden vegetable flavour stock
- 1 block Knorrox oxtail flavour stock
- 1 medium onion
- 2 medium carrots
- 2 medium potatoes
- Black pepper to taste
- Meat for soup with some fat
- Water as needed
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce (to taste)
Instructions:
- Soak the split peas in boiling water. Then rinse with cold water.
- Add enough water to cover the peas and cook once in a steamer pot.
- Add the meat and cook again in the steamer pot.
- Transfer everything to a regular pot.
- Grate the potatoes and carrots, add them to the pot, and cook again.
- Chop the onion and add it to the pot along with the two stock blocks.
- Cook until the meat is tender. Add water if needed during cooking.
Season with black pepper and add 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce to taste.
